PESHAWAR, Dec 05 (APP): The 129th meeting of the Syndicate of The University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP) on Friday approved promotions of TTS Assistant Professors to Associate Professors, promotions of Office Assistants to Superintendents, the 89th Finance and Planning Committee meeting, and the 59th Academic Council meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Jahan Bakht.
Addressing the participants, the Vice Chancellor congratulated the members on the successful conduct of the Syndicate meeting and expressed his gratitude.
He appreciated the role of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Provincial Government for their support in academic and research activities.
He emphasized that university faculty and staff should continue to play an active role in the development of the university and promote quality education, research, and co-curricular activities.
The meeting was attended by Chancellor’s nominee Professor Dr. Qibla Ayaz, HEC nominee and Director HEC Regional Center Peshawar Hidayatullah Khan, Deputy Secretary Agriculture Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Waseem Akhtar, Deputy Secretary Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Aziz Ullah Khan, Deputy Secretary Establishment Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Abdul Ahad, Deputy Secretary Finance Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wardah Latif, Director Higher Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Fareed Ullah Shah, Dean Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences Professor Dr. Abdul Rehman, Dean Faculty of Crop Protection Professor Dr. Shah Alam Khan, Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Fayaz, Assistant Professor Majid Khan, Treasurer Dr. Abdul Salam, Director CNEP Ehsan Ullah, and Deputy Registrar Dr. Khalid Iqbal.
