LAHORE, Dec 04 (APP): Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continuing the journey of progress and prosperity in line with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
He expressed these views while presiding over a review meeting on Thursday to assess the progress of ongoing development projects in PP-153. Officers from the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) and WASA attended the meeting.
During the briefing, the minister was informed about key development schemes, including the Harbanspura to Phatak Saddar Cantt trunk sewerage project worth Rs 4.5 billion, the installation of tube wells in Amna Park (UC 148) costing Rs 1.1 billion, and multiple initiatives related to street repair, sewage improvement, and clean water supply.
Khawaja Salman Rafique reviewed each project in detail and directed concerned departments to ensure timely completion. He said the Punjab government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has consistently focused on public service and sustainable development.
“The PML-N government has always prioritized serving the people, and Pakistan is moving rapidly toward progress, Alhamdulillah,” the minister added.
