SARGODHA, Dec 04 (APP): Commissioner Sargodha Division, Jahanzeb Awan, on Thursday attended an awards ceremony at District Public School (DPS) Joharabad, where he distributed trophies and certificates among position-holding students.
According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner’s office here, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Khushab, Abdul Sattar Khan; CEO SWMC Shahid Imran, Principal DPS, CEO Education Shabbir Sabri, heads of various departments, teachers, parents, and a large gathering of students were present.
The students performed national songs, tableaux, and dramas, drawing strong applause from the audience.
The Commissioner praised their dedication and hard work, emphasizing that success comes through discipline, effort, and a positive mindset.
He added that education forms the foundation of national progress and urged the younger generation to prepare themselves to meet modern challenges.
He also commended the teachers for their crucial role in shaping students’ personalities, and appealed to parents to support their children’s education along with moral upbringing.
Later, the Commissioner visited THQ Hospital Khushab to inspect its facilities and review patient care.
During his visit to THQ Hospital Khushab, the Commissioner was briefed by the Deputy Medical Superintendent and duty doctor, and inspected various wards.
He checked on patients’ conditions, inquired about availability of medicines, and evaluated the hospital’s sanitation arrangements.
The Commissioner directed hospital management to ensure timely medical treatment and improved facilities, warning that any negligence would not be tolerated.
