ISLAMABAD, Dec 03 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for various areas of its region on Thursday due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to IESCO Spokesperson, electricity supply to several feeders across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum circles would remain suspended from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while some areas under GSO Circle would face outages from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additionally, selected feeders will remain closed from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
In the Islamabad Circle, areas including Suparco Chowk, Mezan Bank, Schame-2, Farsh Town, China Chowk, Orchad Scheem, G-6/3, Zia Masjid, Khana East, Mauve Area G-9/1, Gor, Flour Mill-1, Sewrage T.Plant, New I-10/2, G-11/4, D-12/4, T&T, Pindi Point, Dehla, Balawara Feeders will experience power suspension.
In the Rawalpindi City Circle, Ghousia Colony, Haidri Chowk, Malikabad, Faizabad, Shakrial, Fazaiya, Committee Chowk, Gulshanabad, Sarafa Bazar, Gawalmandi, Race Course, Askari XI, People Colony, Ameer Hamza Colony, G-15/4, I-14/3, Benazir Butto S, and multiple other feeders will remain affected.
The Rawalpindi Cantt Circle will see outages in Pakistan Railway, Sir Syed Road, PAF area, Wallayat Complex, Sowan, RCCI Express, Pepsi Cola, FF Hospital, Park View, Pindi Board, Hayal, Qureshi Abad, Jahwara, Japan Road, Sagri, Mandra-II, Pind Jhatla, Syed Kasran, Humak, Imarat and related feeders.
Under the Attock Circle, Harro, Nawababad, Jalala, Ghoree, A Block, New City Arcade, Kohsar Valley, Paswal, Hameed, Mansar, Kamra Rural, Miskeen Abad, Waisa, Moorat, Jhang, Dhaknair and others will face suspension.
The Chakwal Circle will include Adhi, Balkassar, Dalwal, Dhudial Rural, Jalalpur, Jamalwal, Karyala, Katchery, Kot Gullah, Lilla Town, Mulhal Mughlan, Munara, Sarkal, Sukka, Abdullah Pur, Dharyala Jalip and several other areas.
In the Jhelum Circle, feeders such as F-5 (Jada), Nougran, Bolani, Mohalla Shaheedian, Civil Line, Chamala, Dina, Mangla Cantt, Madu Kalas, Phadial, New Sanghoi, Gujar Khan, Nai Khangah, Karsal, Shah Safeer and surrounding localities will remain without electricity.
Meanwhile, under the GSO Circle, I-8 Markaz, H-8/2, Fazaia Colony, KRL, I-16/2, I-16/4, Pind Hoon, I-14/3, I-14/4, PHA-2, Noon, Mumtaz Shaheed, and adjacent feeders will observe outages from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Feeders, 12:00 Noon To 01:00 Pm, Capt; Nasir, Col; Akram, Mangla Cantt, Rohtas, Dina City Feeders And Surrounding Areas Will Remain Closed.
The IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed consumers for the inconvenience caused by this necessary outage.
The spokesman added that the company is committed to completing the work efficiently, noting that if the maintenance is finished ahead of schedule, the power supply will be restored even before the announced time.
