CM Balochistan vows rigorous implementation of National & Provincial Action Plans against terrorism, crime

QUETTA, Dec 3 (APP): Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, declared that decisions made by the National and Provincial Action Committees will be implemented with full diligence, responsibility, and consistency.
The chief minister on Wednesday presided over a high-level meeting of the Counter Terrorism Provincial Harden the State Committee at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, where progress on national and provincial action plans, law-and-order conditions, and ongoing security operations was reviewed in detail.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Hamza Shafqaat, and senior security officials.
During the briefing, Additional Chief Secretary Hamza Shafqaat reported that coordinated operations were underway against militant groups identified as Fitna Al-Khawarij and Fitna Al-Hindustan. He informed the committee that security forces had neutralized 100 militants in northern Balochistan, while more than 200 operations were conducted in Kachhi district. Similar actions were carried out against criminal networks in other districts.
Officials further disclosed that 3,561 illegal petrol pumps had been sealed across the province. Customs authorities conducted 2,575 operations in the last three months, leading to the seizure of 416 non customs-paid vehicles. The government also highlighted progress in registering religious seminaries and enforcing a newly established regulatory framework.
Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing efforts, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti reiterated that the writ of the state would be upheld at all costs. He directed institutions to accelerate their operations and maintain a strict stance against lawbreakers.
Bugti emphasized that decisions taken by the National and Provincial Action Committees must be implemented with full commitment and continuity. He reaffirmed the government’s zero-tolerance policy against crime, lawlessness, and terrorism.
“Ensuring the safety of every citizen in Balochistan is the fundamental responsibility of the state,” Bugti said. “The government will utilize all available resources to maintain peace and sustain the province’s development process under all circumstances.”
