LAHORE, Dec 03 (APP):The Punjab Home Department has issued orders for postings and transfers in jails across the province as part of the Punjab Chief Minister’s jail reforms agenda.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, Muhammad Azhar Javed has been appointed Superintendent of Central Jail Gujranwala, Asghar Ali as Superintendent of Central Jail Multan, and Arshad Ali Waraich as Superintendent of District Jail Kasur. Similarly, Shahbaz Akhtar has been posted as Deputy Superintendent (Judicial) at District Jail Sialkot, while Shahzad Hussain Bukhari has been appointed Deputy Superintendent (Development) at District Jail Mandi Bahauddin.
The Home Department, acting on the directions of the secretary Home, has issued the notification for postings and transfers, which will come into immediate effect.
