ISLAMABAD, Dec 03 (APP): Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on a police van in Dera Ismail Khan, calling it a shameful act perpetrated by Khawarij terrorists.
In his statement on Wednesday, the Speaker paid rich tribute to ASI Gul Alam, Constable Rafiq, and Constable Sakhi Jan, who were martyred in the attack.
He expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and said he shared their grief and sorrow.
Ayaz Sadiq said the nation is proud of the sacrifices of its brave police personnel, adding that Khawarij terrorists are enemies of humanity and the state remains fully committed to eliminating them.
He praised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for their unwavering courage, dedication and exemplary service.
He reaffirmed that Parliament, the nation, and the state stand united against terrorism. “Terrorists will never succeed in their evil designs,” he emphasized, adding that the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered.
The Speaker also stressed the need to further accelerate operations against anti-state elements and said that the sacrifices of police forces are the foundation of lasting peace in the country.
He offered prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, the speedy recovery of the injured, and patience for the grieving families.
