LAHORE, Dec 03 (APP): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone conducted major operations on the directives of Director General FIA, leading to the arrest of two suspects allegedly involved in illegal hawala/hundi activities.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the Corporate Crime Circle Lahore carried out the raid in the Moon Market area, where two accused, Adeel Mehmood and Attaullah Khan were arrested red-handed while dealing in illegal money transfer transactions.
During the operation, the FIA recovered Rs. 6 million, mobile phones, and other evidence related to hawala/hundi from the possession of the suspects.
The arrested individuals have been shifted for further interrogation, while raids are underway to apprehend their accomplices.
