KHANEWAL, Dec 03 (APP): In order to strengthen the service delivery system with transparent registration of FIRs, a Special Initiative Police Station was inaugurated at Nawan Sher on Wednesday.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry formally inaugurated the station, which is equipped with modern facilities to provide timely assistance to visitors
and complainants.
The station features a modern front desk, a fully computerised data system, a monitoring room, waiting area, SHO office, investigation room, recreation room and several other
upgraded sections.
RPO Sohail Chaudhry said the model police station reflected the professional capabilities of Punjab Police and would play a key role in improving public trust. He added that all possible resources were being utilised to modernise police culture and strengthen the rule of law, noting that citizens’ confidence remained their biggest strength.
Earlier, the RPO visited the DPO Office, where DPO Ismail Kharak received him. He inspected various branches, praised the performance of the staff and reviewed ongoing construction projects, issuing necessary directions to the concerned officers.
