ISLAMABAD, Dec 2 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday appreciated the security forces for successful operations against the Indian-backed Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in North Waziristan.
In their separate statements, the president and the prime minister commended the security forces for killing seven terrorists during the operations.
“The recovery of weapons and explosives from the possession of the Indian-sponsored Khawarij is proof of the professional competence of our security forces,” President Zardari said.
He saluted the high morale of the security forces and law enforcement agencies and paid homage to their unwavering commitment to the defense of the motherland.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Shari said the entire nation stood with the Pakistan armed forces in this war against terrorism.
He also expressed the unwavering resolve to completely eliminate terrorism in all its forms, from the country.
