LAHORE, Dec 02 (APP):Lahore experienced dry and cold weather on Tuesday, with similar conditions expected on Wednesday.
MET officials said most parts of the country would remain under the influence of continental air, while a shallow westerly wave persisted over the extreme north. They forecast cold and dry weather across most regions, with very cold conditions in hilly areas during morning and night hours. Smog is likely in the plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while light to moderate fog may develop at isolated spots during morning and night. Frost is also expected at isolated locations in Islamabad, the Pothohar region, Kashmir, and the plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during early hours.
On Tuesday, the lowest temperature was recorded in Skardu at -08°C, while Lahore registered a minimum of 11°C.
