MULTAN, Dec 02 (APP): A consistent and significant reduction in property-related crime has been recorded in the Multan Region over the past three years, reflecting the effectiveness of police strategy, enhanced patrolling, and prompt response mechanisms, according to a report issued by the Regional Police Public Relations Department on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson said that crime-against-property calls have continued to decline each year due to improved intelligence-based operations, strict monitoring of suspicious activities, and deployment of modern patrolling systems across all districts of the region.
According to official data, 35,747 calls related to property crime were recorded in 2023. The number decreased to 32,863 in 2024 and dropped further to 24,073 in 2025, marking a record improvement.
The spokesperson added that the three-year downward trend demonstrates the success of the region’s policing strategy, which has strengthened public confidence and significantly curtailed criminal elements. Effective beat patrolling, rapid response units, and coordinated intelligence sharing were key factors in suppressing criminal activity.
He further stated that 2025 emerged as a landmark year in crime control, with an exceptional reduction in calls representing the dedication, professionalism, and operational coordination of Multan Region Police.
The Multan Region Police reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying efforts for citizens’ safety and pursuing the complete elimination of crime through sustained vigilance and proactive policing.
