MULTAN, Dec 02 (APP): Multan Division administration has launched a strict enforcement drive to ensure full compliance with the Marriage Function Act.
Commissioner Multan Division, Aamir Kareem Khan, has instructed all Deputy Commissioners to intensify inspections of wedding halls, marquees, and open-air venues across the division.
The Commissioner stressed that violations of the official timing for wedding events and the one-dish policy will not be tolerated. He directed officials to take immediate action against any event that continues beyond the allowed hours.
Aamir Kareem Khan also announced a complete ban on loud music at marriage functions. He stated that the use of high-volume sound systems or serving multiple dishes will lead to swift legal action. Wedding venue operators have been warned to adhere strictly to the regulations.
He further emphasized that police stations must also ensure compliance with the prescribed rules, reiterating that the administration will follow a zero-tolerance approach.
The Commissioner confirmed that farmhouses have also been added to the enforcement list. District administrations have been ordered to begin an extensive crackdown starting tonight.
