5.1-magnitude earthquake strikes US State of Alaska

WASHINGTON, Dec 2 (WAM/APP): An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 struck Tuesday the US state of Alaska.

According to the US Geological Survey, the epicentre of the quake was recorded at a depth of 35 kilometres.

There have been no reports so far of casualties or material damage resulting from the earthquake.
