ISLAMABAD, Dec 1 (APP): Aiman Ridhwan bin Mohammad Ramlan of Malaysia and Iran’s Adnan Momeninkhamiseh, who secured first and second positions in Pakistan’s first International Qirat Competition, visited Badshahi Mosque and the shrine of Allama Iqbal on Monday, along with the chief judge of the competition.
Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan and Chief Khatib of Badshahi Mosque Lahore, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, welcomed the distinguished guests and took them on a tour of various parts of the mosque and its sanctuaries.
The distinguished guests paid homage at the shrine of the Poet of the East, Hakim-ul-Ummat Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, and read his sermons and recited Fateha.
