First successful angioplasty performed at Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Center (NSCC), Murree

RAWALPINDI, Dec 01 (APP): Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) has successfully implanted stents by performing the first angioplasty on a patient from Murree at the Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Center (NSCC), Samli, Murree, on Monday.

The patient, Muhammad Asghar Abbasi, resident of Chitta Morr, underwent the procedure performed by Dr Asim Javed, Head of Cardiology, RIC, along with his team.

The patient and his attendants highly appreciated the landmark initiative taken by the CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif for establishing state-of-the-art cardiac facilities for the people of Murree and adjoining areas.
