HYDERABAD, Dec 01 (APP): The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Sindh Persons with Disabilities Protection Authority (SPDPA), and the Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA) warmly welcomed the visiting delegation of Maya Dance Theatre – Diverse Abilities Dance Collective, Singapore, comprising talented performers with Down syndrome, during their participation in the World Cultural Festival at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.
Dr. Ratna Dewan, Deputy Director SPDPA; Abid Lashari, CEO PDSA; Amina Shaikh, Deputy Director DEPD Government of Sindh; Alisba Aminuddin, Ambassador PDSA Pakistan; and Iffet Amin from PDSA presented traditional gifts to the esteemed guests as a gesture of respect, friendship, and cultural exchange.
Ms. Kavita, Ms. Kristen, and Mr. Imran Mannaf expressed their heartfelt gratitude to DEPD Sindh, SPDPA, and PDSA for their warm hospitality, encouragement, and continuous support throughout their visit and performances. They appreciated the commitment of Sindh’s disability sector toward promoting inclusion through art, culture, and international collaboration.
