KARACHI, Dec 01 (APP): The University of Karachi Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi on Monday paid a detailed visit to the various counters set up at the Gymnasium Hall for admissions to the Morning Program for the academic year 2026.
During the visit, he met with students and parents present at the venue and expressed satisfaction over the guidance and cooperation being provided by the admission staff, commending the overall arrangements.
For the convenience of students, over 20 counters have been established within the university where all admission-related steps—from obtaining forms to fee submission at the bank counter—are being completed smoothly at a single location.
A team of more than 20 faculty members and 30 non-teaching staff members is continuously engaged in guiding students throughout the process.
A dedicated help desk has also been set up for students and parents requiring special assistance. In addition, the Student Admission fund desk and a separate counter for various scholarship schemes are operational to support deserving students, where application forms and all necessary information are provided.
The KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi lauded the Admission Committee for its sound arrangements and stated that all concerned departments of the University of Karachi remain actively engaged to ensure student facilitation and guidance.
He expressed hope that this organized and streamlined system would provide clear convenience to both students and parents.
