MUZAFFARGARH, Dec 01 (APP): A local court has delivered its verdict in the high-profile murder case from Layyah’s Karor Lal Esan tehsil, sentencing four individuals to life imprisonment while acquitting two others due to lack of sufficient evidence.
According to police sources, the court convicted Muhammad Ashfaq alias Bilal, Naseer Ahmed alias Arshad, Muhammad Amjad, and Umar Farooq, sentencing them to life imprisonment for their roles in the murder of Allah Ditta Budani Baloch last year.
In contrast, Amanullah and Ghulam Yaseen were honorably acquitted after the prosecution failed to present adequate evidence to support their involvement in the crime.
The case revolves around the brutal killing of young Allah Ditta Budani Baloch, who was murdered by gunfire and multiple knife wounds. Investigating Officer SI Qamar-uz-Zaman presented strong and credible evidence in court, which ultimately led to the conviction of the four accused.
This verdict marks a significant milestone in one of the region’s most closely followed and discussed murder cases.
