ABBOTTABAD, Dec 01 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram paid an important visit to the Service Delivery Center (SDC) on Monday, where he reviewed the computerised revenue services being provided to the public.
During the visit, he met the Sub-Registrar, Tehsildar SDC and other staff members, who briefed him on the services, citizen facilitation measures and the overall functioning of the center.
The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with citizens present at the center, listened to their complaints and issued immediate instructions to the concerned officers for resolving their issues on the spot. He emphasized that all public grievances must be addressed promptly and professionally.
Later, Sarmad Saleem Akram visited the Mohafiz Khana (Record Room) and reviewed record safety arrangements. He instructed officials to ensure proper shelving, secure preservation of documents and further improvements in the digital transition of record-keeping. He directed the staff to adopt modern methods to enhance protection and accessibility of official documents.
The Deputy Commissioner also issued clear directives for improving facilities for women, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. He stressed enhancing the quality of service at counters and improving the overall administrative setup of the Tehsil Office to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery to the public.
