SIALKOT, Dec 01 (APP):The Department of Sociology and Criminology at Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) in collaboration with Surag-e-Zindagi Welfare Organization organized an Outreach Donation Drive at a local government primary school on Monday.
The event aimed to support underprivileged students by providing them with essential academic supplies,while also encouraging university students to get involved in social responsibility.
According to a spokesperson,the initiative was led by Dr. Yasir Nawaz Manj,chairperson of the department,who was committed to community development and educational empowerment.
The department plans to organize more outreach activities in the future to continue its role in supporting marginalized communities and promoting civic responsibility.
