SIALKOT, Dec 01 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Monday inspected 300 outlets across the district.
According to a spokesperson,300 outlets were inspected out of which 30 outlets were fined amounting Rs.400,000 and seven production units were sealed for failing to meet hygiene standards.
The PFA also tossed out 550 kg of expired bakery items and prohibited goods,while uncovering missing records and health certificates in several units.
A total of 170 improvement notices were issued,as the PFA reaffirmed its pledge to ensure safe food for all,following directives from the Punjab Chief Minister.
