LAHORE, Nov 30 (APP): The annual Chrysanthemum Show organised by the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore will open on December 4, with preparations underway for the two-week exhibition, Managing Director PHA Lahore Raja Mansoor Ahmad said on Sunday.
During his visit to Jilani Park to review the arrangements, the MD said the event will be held at the Oval Ground of the park, where horticulture experts are preparing an aesthetically designed display structure. He said beautiful chrysanthemum flowers from various PHA nurseries are being shifted to the exhibition area to create an impressive floral showcase.
Senior officials, including Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha, Ahmad Saeed Manj and directors from the horticulture wing, attended the meeting and briefing during the visit. The MD said the Chrysanthemum Show is one of PHA’s major annual attractions, adding that special efforts are being made to make this year’s event more distinctive than previous editions.
He expressed the hope that the exhibition would attract large numbers of families and visitors from Lahore, across Punjab and other parts of the country, providing them with an engaging and colourful horticultural experience.
