RAWALPINDI, Nov 30 (APP): City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi, Syed Khalid Hamdani, on Sunday issued special instructions to ensure uniform enforcement of traffic laws for all government and private drivers.
He warned that drivers employed in the police or other government departments found violating traffic rules would face strict action. “The law is equal for everyone. No one will be exempted,” he said, adding that departmental measures against government drivers violating regulations would also be ensured.
According to a police spokesman, enforcement is being strengthened through Safe City e-challaning, while traffic police have been directed to rigorously implement all traffic rules.
The CPO urged citizens to observe traffic laws, stating that compliance reflects the standards of a civilized society.
