Khawaja Asif warns not to spread speculation about CDF’s appointment

ISLAMABAD, Nov 30 (APP): Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday said that unnecessary and irresponsible speculations were being spread without justification regarding the appointment of the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF).
In a post on X, the minister unveiled that in this regard, it is clarified that the formal process of appointment has already begun.
He said Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is returning home shortly, the notification of the Chief of Defense Forces will be issued at the appropriate time.
Khawaja Asif warned that there was no room for speculation or baseless comments on this matter.
