Customs Inspectors visit CPC for specialized training exposure

ISLAMABAD, Nov 30 (APP):A delegation of under-training inspectors from the Customs Department visited the Capital Police College (CPC) Islamabad, where they were briefed on modern policing practices and skill-based training modules.
An official told APP on Sunday that the delegation was taken on a comprehensive tour of various departments at the college, where they observed operational procedures and training facilities firsthand.

During the visit, the delegation met Director Special Initiatives Shams Ul Haq Durrani, who informed them that the Capital Police College offers multiple professional courses, including the Advance Course, Upper Course, Intermediate Course, and Basic Recruit Course.
He said these courses not only prepare police officers for field duties but also provide technical training opportunities for young individuals from other institutions.
The delegation was also briefed on practical components of training, such as application of laws, crime scene preservation, witness statement handling, fingerprint collection, and forensic procedures.
The visiting officers additionally interacted with the Law Instructors stationed at CPC, gaining insight into their daily responsibilities and instructional methodologies.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Customs inspectors expressed gratitude to IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and the management of CPC for the informative and well-organized experience. They commended Islamabad Police for raising the bar in professional law enforcement training and institutional excellence.
