ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken notice of the firing incident that occurred in a Rawalpindi locality and resulted in the martyrdom of Islamabad Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ali Akbar.
In a statement, Naqvi paid rich tribute to the martyred officer, acknowledging his service and sacrifice.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the bereaved family, saying he stood in solidarity with them during this difficult time.
The interior minister has sought a detailed report of the incident from the Inspector General of Islamabad Police and ordered the immediate arrest of all suspects involved in the shooting.
“We share the grief of the family of Shaheed ASI Ali Akbar,” Naqvi said, assuring that those responsible will be brought to justice without delay.
