MIRPUR, Nov 28 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has made public service the central focus of his activities since assuming office, it was officially said.
‘Since taking over the charge of his office, PM Rathore has consistently engaged with public delegations and citizens,” official sources told APP on Friday.
“Even today, he spent a busy day meeting public delegations from various parts of Azad Jammu Kashmir, inquiring about the grievances of the common man and issuing immediate instructions for the resolution of their problems.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that serving the people is his mission. “The PPP is the party of the masses; it senses and feels their pain,” he added. He affirmed that the government would utilize all available resources to address the challenges faced by the people. Highlighting the historic relationship between the people of Kashmir and Pakistan, the prime minister said the bond is rooted deep in shared culture, history, and identity.
“Our existence, our future, and our destiny are interconnected and interwoven,” he remarked. PM Rathore reiterated that his government would work day and night to address public issues, remove the sense of deprivation, and restore people’s confidence in state institutions.
“Our focus has been on improving health and education,” he said, adding that the public would soon witness a tangible change on the ground. Those who called on Prime Minister Rathore included party and public delegations from Haveli, Hattian, Chakar, and Mirpur. The delegations were led by PPP leader Sardar Tabarak Khan from Muzaffarabad, the PPP Women’s Wing AJK leader Shagufta Noreen, Dr. Ilyas, and a delegation of the PWD workers led by Sardar Iftikhar Shaheen.
