PESHAWAR, Nov 28 (APP):The ongoing national measles and rubella vaccination campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is meeting with resounding success, with health officials reporting millions of children already vaccinated.
Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, in an update on the campaign’s progress, announced that a remarkable 4.3 million children have been safely vaccinated against measles and rubella in the first nine days. He declared the campaign “successfully under way,” highlighting the government’s commitment to a safer future for the province’s children.
The intensive campaign, which runs from November 17 to 29, aims to inoculate all children between the ages of six months and five years. Health authorities are urging all parents and guardians to participate in this critical initiative.
