Lahore Intermediate Board girls win Badminton Championship Tropy in Larkana

LARKANA, Nov 28 (APP): The Lahore Board of Education was declared the champion of the Pakistan Inter-Board Girls Badminton Championship 2025, currently being held at the Officers Club Larkana under the supervision of the Larkana Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Friday.

In the final match, the Lahore Board of Education players—Hamna Irsahd, Fatima Khan, Noor-un-Nisa, and Sima Naveed—defeated the team from the Federal Board of Education Islamabad, comprising players Ayesha Malik, Marwa, and Hareem Marwa, with a score of 2-0 to claim the championship title.

In the match for third place, the Mardan Board of Education defeated the Shaheed Benazirabad Board of Education 2-0 to secure the third position.

Pakistan Inter-Board Girls Championship, the first position was secured by the Lahore Board of Education, the second position by the Federal Board of Education Islamabad, and the third position by the Mardan Board of Education.

The chief guest at the colorful closing ceremony was Commissioner Larkana Division Tahir Hussain Sangi. Other distinguished guests present at the ceremony included Khair Mohammad Sheikh, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh; Chairman of the Larkana Board of Education Khalid Hussain Mahar; former President of Badminton Sindh Nisarullah Sheikh; Director of Physical Education, Larkana Board of Education, Haji Mohammad Ramzan Jamali; Director Sports Mardan Board Mohammad Sabir; Director Sports Mardan Board Asia; Director Sports Malakand Board Ikram Khan; Senior Director of Physical Education S.M.B.B. Government College of Education Larkana Khadim Hussain Gopang; Senior Director of Physical Education S.M.B.B. Government Girls College New Jairo Neelam Khokhar; Senior Director of Physical Education Government Girls Degree College Larkana Anila Abro; Senior Director of Physical Education Government Education College Sukkur Musarat Ali Memon; Director of Physical Education Shaheed Benazirabad Board of Education Mohammad Aamir Jamali; Zahid Ali Gadh; and Wajid Ali.

At the end of the ceremony, the Commissioner Larkana distributed medals, certificates and trophies among the players who showed outstanding performance.

The umpiring duties for the day were performed by Neelam Khokhar, Khadim Hussain Gopang and Musarat Ali Memon, while a beautiful tableau was presented by the students of O.P.F. Public School Larkana during the closing ceremony.
