SARGODHA, Nov 28 (APP):The Zakat Foundation of America distributed winter clothing to 100 orphaned children under its care in Sillanwali tehsil of district Sargodha, ensuring their protection against the harsh seasonal conditions.
The initiative included the provision of sweaters, jersey sets, shoes, and other warm garments aimed at safeguarding the children’s health and fulfilling their essential winter needs.
The distribution activity was supervised by Coordinator Madam Shazia Naz and Field Officer Rana Hammad, who ensured that the entire process was conducted in an organized, transparent, and efficient manner.
Parents and community members expressed strong appreciation for the effort, noting that such support significantly reduces their financial burden, especially at the start of the winter season.
They added that these items greatly contribute to the well-being and comfort of the children.
Community representatives also praised the foundation’s commitment, highlighting that such initiatives play an important role in improving the lives of vulnerable children in the region.
