BEIJING, Nov 28 (APP):The Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan said on Friday that another security incident recently occurred in the border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, resulting in casualties among Chinese nationals.
The embassy issued a renewed warning to Chinese companies and personnel engaged in gold mining operations in the affected region, urging them to leave the area as soon as possible.
It also advised that in case of an emergency, individuals should immediately contact local police and reach out to the embassy for assistance, Global Times reported.
Three Chinese workers in Tajikistan were killed in an attack launched from Afghanistan near the border, Tajik authorities said Thursday.
The foreign ministry said a drone and firearm attack hit workers of a Chinese company in the country’s south, according to the media report.
