Chairman CDA visits “Assan Khidmat Markaz” building project

ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (APP):Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Thursday visited the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” Building project along with CDA Board Member Engineering, Syed Nafasat Raza and relevant officers.
He inspected the progress of the construction activities, renovation and beautification work being carried out on the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” Building project, said a press release.
Relevant officers briefed the Chairman CDA on the progress of the construction work for the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” project. They informed him that over 70 percent of the project’s total construction work has been accomplished. He was further briefed that construction activities are progressing rapidly to ensure the project’s timely completion.
During the briefing, the chairman CDA was informed that the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” project will soon be completed and opened for the general public. He was also told that modern technology will be utilized at the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” to provide public services and facilities for the citizens.
Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that while ensuring the project’s swift completion, the highest quality standards must be ensured under all circumstances. He directed the establishment of a dedicated counter at the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” to provide CDA’s One-Window Facilitation Center services.
He instructed that in this regard, the CDA’s IT Wing should commence work for integration and provision of all CDA’s services at Assan Khidmat Markaz.
The chairman CDA said that with the establishment of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” the citizens of Islamabad will be able to access approximately one hundred services and facilities from various departments under one roof.
He further directed that no compromise on the high standards of quality in the completion of the “Assan Khidmat Markaz” project would be tolerated.
