ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (APP):Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja visited the under-construction center of the Pakistan ASAN Khidmat Centre in Sector G-9, here on Thursday.
The center was being established in a modern manner for citizen facilitation with the cooperation of Azerbaijan and under the Prime Minister’s Digital Nation Vision, which was currently in the completion stages, said a press release.
The federal minister was given a detailed briefing on citizen-centric service delivery, integrated public services and technology-based facilitation model.
Shaza Fatima expressed satisfaction with the ongoing development work and directed to complete the project as soon as possible.
The minister said that this center was an important milestone in making direct communication between the people and the government in effective, easy and transparent manner.
She said that this center will provide citizen services in accordance with international standards as per the Prime Minister’s Digital Nation Vision. Shaza Fatima noted that through this project, the people will be able to access a wide range of government services under one roof.
She emphasized that Pakistan’s digital facilitation centers will play a key role in strengthening the governance model, adding that this project was laying the foundation for a new era of public service, digital reforms, and modern government service delivery.
