PESHAWAR, Nov 27 (APP): The 39th Syndicate meeting of the Khushal Khan Khattak University-Karak (KKKUK) concluded on Thursday in Peshawar, marking a significant step forward in the university’s administrative and developmental progress.
The meeting, presided over by the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, addressed important matters aimed at enhancing the university’s operational efficiency and academic environment.
A key highlight of the session was the thorough deliberation of the recommendations put forth by the Finance and Planning Committee (F&PC) regarding the university’s financial matters.
Following extensive discussion and consideration by the Syndicate members, the F&PC budget recommendations were recommended and will now be forwarded for senate final approval.Forum also approved the minutes of 28th academic council meeting.
The 39th Syndicate meeting witnessed the participation of several key stakeholders, underscoring the collaborative spirit in the university’s governance.
Esteemed attendees included the representative of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad,Dr.Farid Ullah Shah, Justice (R) Dawood Khan alongside principal officers of KKKUK Registrar Muhammad Rashad, Director Finance Hafiz Ismail Khan, Director Quality Enhancement Cell Dr. Muhammad Anwar,Director Academic& Research Dr.Fasih Ur Rehman, Director ORIC Abdus Salam,Deputy Director Audit Farid Jalal, Project Engineer Hamraz, Dr Ghani Ur Rehman,Deputy Registrar Meetings Muhammad Ilyas, Deputy Director Finance Asif Ghani, Additional Registrar Naveed Bukhari, and representatives from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government, Additional Secretary Establishment Department Jamal Ud Din, Additional Secretary Finance Department Syed Ibrahim Shah, Deputy Secretary Higher Education Archives and Libraries Department Javed Iqbal.
The Principal of Government Post Graduate College (GPGC) Karak, Muhammad Ajmal Khan, along with Additional Registrar Naveed Gul Bukhari,PS to Vice Chancellor Kashif Nawaz and Superintendent Muhammad Jan, also contributed to the meeting’s proceedings.
Earlier in the meeting, Registrar Muhammad Rashad presented the agenda items for the 39th Syndicate meeting, facilitating a comprehensive and engaging discussion among all participants.
Notably, the Registrar lauded the Vice-Chancellor’s proactive role for the university, recognizing their potential to effectively address and resolve issues faced by university employees.
This sentiment was echoed by other Syndicate members, who expressed their appreciation for Professor Muhammad Tahir Khalily’s consistent efforts in tackling the university’s challenges. The members also acknowledged the Vice-Chancellor’s dedication to completing infrastructure projects for the university, particularly amidst challenging circumstances.
The Syndicate further demonstrated its commitment to the university’s smooth functioning by making important decisions on various teaching and administrative matters.
Recognizing the need for thorough consideration in specific areas, the Syndicate also resolved to form dedicated committees to address these matters in accordance with the university’s established rules and regulations.
In his concluding address, Vice-Chancellor expressed his sincere gratitude to the members for their continued trust and confidence in his leadership.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to resolving all issues faced by university employees promptly and impartially, emphasizing his dedication to prioritizing the overall betterment and progress of Khushal Khan Khattak University-Karak.
