PESHAWAR, Nov 27 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police check post in Hangu.
The Governor expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of three police personnel who lost their lives during the exchange of fire with terrorists.
The Governor paid tribute to the martyred policemen for their courage and sacrifice, praying for the elevation of their ranks and patience for the bereaved families. He also conveyed his sincere wishes for the swift recovery of the injured police officials.
Governor Kundi said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is bravely confronting terrorists and playing a frontline role in ensuring peace in the province.
He reaffirmed that the sacrifices of police martyrs will not go in vain and reiterated the government’s resolve to continue supporting the security forces in their fight against terrorism.
