SUKKUR, Nov 27 (APP): During a visit to the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), Jai Kumar Chawla, Regional Head of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Sukkur on Thursday addressed the website’s official list of candidates for the 2025 Senate elections. He met with President Muhammad Khalid Kakizai, Vice President Malik Muhammad Owais Rais, Convenor of the Public Relations Committee Shahid Khan and other members.
Chawla said that though government directives mandate a minimum of six hours of gas supply, SSGC is providing up to nine hours of supply during peak periods to 47,000 consumers in the region. He urged the public to avoid using compressors or indulging in gas theft, calling such acts tantamount to robbing the rights of all consumers.
He also highlighted that RLNG rates are 30 % lower than LPG, offering significant benefits to users. Responding to issues raised by the participants including water ingress in pipelines, uninterrupted gas supply to industries, filling of potholes, and on spot billing problems, he assured full cooperation for resolution.
The meeting was attended by Ayaz Ali Shah, Aftab Mahesar, Suhail Sheikh, Kazim Baloch and other chamber members.
