Pakistan, Bahrain vow to deepen security, counter-narcotics cooperation

ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (APP):Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Mohsin Naqvi, held an important meeting with Bahrain’s Interior Minister, General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, during his visit to Manama on Thursday.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations, regional security, and matters of mutual interest in detail. Both interior ministers agreed to enhance cooperation in counter-narcotics efforts, strengthen the capacity of law enforcement agencies, and make intelligence sharing more effective.
Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by his Bahraini counterpart and appreciated Bahrain’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Pakistan in the fields of security and stability.
He said the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain are built on strong foundations of mutual trust and respect, adding that close coordination between institutions of both countries is essential for peace and security in the region.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their resolve to further strengthen partnerships for the mutual benefit and a secure future of the peoples of Pakistan and Bahrain.
