ISLAMABAD, Nov 26 (APP): Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti met National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Parliament House here Wednesday, where they engaged in a comprehensive discussion on Balochistan’s political, social and developmental matters.
During the meeting, the Speaker categorically dismissed the circulating rumors regarding the replacement of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, terming them baseless and unfounded. He affirmed that the coalition government in Balochistan would continue to play its full role in ensuring the province’s development and prosperity.
The NA Speaker reiterated that the progress of Pakistan was directly linked with the progress of Balochistan. He emphasized that the ongoing mega development projects in the province were a positive sign and assured the Chief Minister of full cooperation at all levels for the welfare and uplift of the people of Balochistan.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further stated that resolving the issues faced by the people of Balochistan remains a top priority. He added that strengthening coordination between the federation and the provinces would significantly help address public concerns and improve service delivery.
Both leaders agreed on the need to continue working together for the development, peace, and prosperity of Balochistan.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti lauded the leadership and role of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. He also appreciated the National Assembly’s support in facilitating legislative processes in the Balochistan Assembly and acknowledged the Speaker’s effective conduct of House proceedings.
The chief minister highlighted that the people of Balochistan, along with the security forces, are courageously standing against terrorism. He noted that Parliament serves as the strongest voice for the provinces in addressing national challenges.
