RAWALPINDI, Nov 26 (APP):The Rawalpindi Police arrested five alleged members of two criminal gangs involved in robberies and motorcycle thefts, recovering six stolen two-wheelers, two snatched mobile phones and Rs60,000 in cash, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
He stated that the Saddar Beruni Police busted a three-member gang allegedly linked to multiple motorcycle theft cases. The team also recovered five stolen motorcycles. The suspects, he added, had previously been booked in similar offences.
Separately, the Wah Saddar Police apprehended a two-member gang accused of robberies and motorcycle theft. One stolen motorcycle, two snatched mobile phones and Rs60,000 in cash were recovered during the operation.
The spokesman said the arrested suspects would be sent to court with solid evidence. “Those who deprive citizens of their valuables cannot evade the law,” he added.
