RAWALPINDI, Nov 25 (APP): The Pirwadhai Police apprehended two proclaimed offenders wanted in a case of causing grievous harm to a citizen, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Tuesday.
The suspects had allegedly injured the citizen with an iron rod during a dispute over a financial transaction in December 2024 and had been evading arrest since then.
The spokesman said the arrests were made using human intelligence and other investigative resources. He added that four associates of the suspects had already been taken into custody.
“The arrested offenders will be presented in court with solid evidence to ensure they are brought to justice,” Superintendent of Police Rawal Saad Arshad said, emphasising that the police were committed to securing convictions in serious criminal cases.
