Amir Hamza Zehri reviews progress on MCQ development schemes

QUETTA, Nov 25 (APP):Advisor to the Chief Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Amir Hamza Zehri on Tuesday reviewed the progress of ongoing development schemes of the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta (MCQ).
The meeting was attended by Secretary Local Government and Rural Development Abdul Rauf Baloch, Administrator Metropolitan Corporation Quetta Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambrani, Secretary Balochistan Local Government Board Shujaat Ali, Chief Metropolitan Officer Attaullah Bazai, Chief Engineer Muhammad Ishaq Mengal, Administrative Officer Abdul Rehman, and other senior officials of the Local Government Department.
During the session, participants conducted a detailed review of the financial and physical progress of the corporation’s ongoing development schemes. The Administrator of Quetta briefed the meeting on the current status of all ongoing projects.
Addressing the meeting, Advisor Nawabzada Amir Hamza Zehri stressed the need to accelerate the pace of development initiatives in Quetta to ensure the timely delivery of improved municipal services to residents. He directed that all ongoing projects be completed at the earliest so that citizens can enjoy a cleaner, more beautiful, and better-facilitated city.
Secretary Local Government Abdul Rauf Baloch informed the meeting that significant steps are underway to eliminate encroachments across the city and to improve cleanliness under the “Safa Quetta Project.” He added that additional measures are being taken to enhance development and sanitation services in distant areas of the city to ensure the provision of modern municipal facilities to all residents.
Advisor Zehri appreciated the efforts of the concerned officers and emphasized the importance of regular monitoring of all projects. He urged officials to utilize all available resources to ensure the timely completion of development schemes.
