KARACHI, Nov 25 (APP):The Karachi administration’s campaign against roadside encroachments and illegal LPG sales continued on Tuesday.
Various Deputy Commissioners have submitted reports to Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi, informing that two hotels and a pakwan center in District Central, and a hotel and two illegal LPG shops in District South, have been sealed.
According to Deputy Commissioner Central, Taha Saleem’s report, action was taken against encroachments at Sindhi Hotel in Liaquatabad subdivision, sealing two hotels, New Hazara Jahangir Hotel, and Quetta Hotel, and a Pakwan center. Additionally, encroachments at Teen- Hatti under Liaquatabad Bridge were removed.
In District South, the campaign against encroachments continues. Deputy Commissioner South, Javed Nabi Khoso, reported that Assistant Commissioner Saddar, Rana Sufiyan Babar , sealed a hotel and two shops selling illegal LPG in Saddar.
The Deputy Commissioner South informed the Commissioner that effective monitoring is being done to prevent encroachments on Mansfield Street and Bohri Bazaar in Saddar.
Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi, has directed all Deputy Commissioners to continue the campaign against encroachments affecting traffic congestion.
