KARACHI, Nov 25 (APP):Six ships, Hua Chuang-66, Seaspan Santos, Zest, Lian Yang Hu, Marmara-S and Captain Sitaras scheduled load/offload Container, Bitumen, Gasoline and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal, Marginal Wharf-4 and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Monday.
Meanwhile two more ships, Al-Salam-II and Rabigh Sunshine carrying Gas oil and Chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage on Monday.
Eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Hua Chuang-66, Southern Anoa and Serengeti Park left the port on today morning, while another ship ‘Seaspan Santos’ expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 204,774 tonnes, comprising 156,576 tonnes imports cargo and 48,198 export cargo carried in 5,263 Containers (2,469 TEUs Imports & 2,794 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Thirteen ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Golden Curl and Navigator Leo carrying Palm oil and LPG are expected to take berths at LCT and EVTL on Tuesday.
