LAHORE, Nov 24 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday expressed profound gratitude to Allah Almighty and thanked the people for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) sweeping victory in the recent by-elections, terming it a clear endorsement of the party’s performance and public service agenda.
Extending her heartfelt congratulations to the winning candidates, the chief minister said the newly elected members of the National and Provincial Assemblies had earned the trust of the people through their hard work and dedication. “The people have made a clear decision that those who work will get votes,” she remarked.
CM Maryam Nawaz said the by-poll results reflected the public’s firm desire for stability, development and a progressive future. She added that the chapter of sedition and corruption had now come to an end, paving the way for a new era focused on service delivery, good governance and national progress.
She said the outcome of the by-elections was a powerful message from the ballot box that the people of Pakistan rejected divisive politics and sought a brighter and stronger future for the country.
