KP government issues 16000 teacher appointment orders

PESHAWAR, Nov 24 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department has issued appointment orders for 16000 newly recruited teachers.
 Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi attended the ceremony as chief guest and congratulated the teachers.
The Chief Minister addressed the newly appointed teachers.
 He said all teachers were selected purely on merit and competence. He stated the presence of individuals from diverse political backgrounds proves the culture of recommendations has ended.
He emphasized that merit and transparency have been promoted across the province following Imran Khans vision.
He warned that any violation of merit will result in strict action. He called teachers the moral and spiritual guardians of society.
Chief Minister said the future of children lies in their hands. He added that these children will one day hold important positions.
He said everyone must strive to make the province and country great.
During the ceremony the Chief Minister presented appointment orders to top candidates from Khyber and Peshawar districts. The recruitment includes 10417 male and 5753 female teaching posts.
