Ahsan denounces attack on FC HQ, expresses solidarity with victims’ families

ISLAMABAD, Nov 24 (APP): Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Professor Ahsan Iqbal on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, terming it an assault on the country’s peace and stability.
In a statement, the minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of security personnel and conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayers for the early recovery of the injured.
Ahsan Iqbal reiterated that terrorism was a direct attack on the nation’s integrity, stability and hard-won peace.
He said cowardly acts of violence could never deter the courage and resolve of the Pakistani nation.
“The entire nation stands united for the complete elimination of terrorism. Such attacks cannot weaken our determination,” he added.
