PESHAWAR, Nov 24 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar Saddar on Monday, praising the bravery and swift action of FC personnel who successfully repelled the assault.
The Governor paid rich tribute to the Federal Constabulary for thwarting the terrorist attempt with exemplary courage.
“The brave FC personnel fought valiantly and foiled the cowardly attack,” he said.
Governor Kundi expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of three FC personnel during the encounter and offered heartfelt prayers for the elevation of their ranks. He also conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.
He further extended his best wishes for the quick recovery of the FC personnel injured in the incident.
The Governor reaffirmed that such cowardly acts cannot shake the nation’s resolve against terrorism.
“The entire nation stands united with its security forces in the fight against terrorism,” he added.
