FAISALABAD, Nov 23 (APP):State Minister for Interior Senator Talal Badar Chaudhary cast his vote in NA-96 Jaranwala on Sunday as polling continued smoothly across the constituency under strict security and monitoring arrangements.
The minister reached his designated polling station and exercised his right to vote, demonstrating the government’s commitment to strengthening democratic processes and encouraging public participation in the by-elections.
Polling staff reported a steady turnout in NA-96, where 16 candidates are contesting, including Bilal Badar Chaudhary, the state minister’s brother, running on a PML-N ticket.
A spokesperson for the Election Commission stated that polling across the constituency has so far remained peaceful, with tight security measures ensuring a safe environment for voters. Continuous surveillance, deployment of security personnel, and real-time oversight from control rooms are helping maintain smooth and transparent polling proceedings.
The polling, which began at 8 a.m., will continue uninterrupted until 5 p.m. Voters were urged to visit their respective polling stations without fear and exercise their democratic right.
