BAHAWALPUR, Nov 23 (APP):The Islamia University of Bahawalpur maintained its position by performing better in the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026.
According to press release issued by IUB here on Sunday, Jamia Islamia was ranked 251–300 globally. “It has secured 12th position among Pakistani universities in the Interdisciplinary Science category.”
In this regard, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran expressed pleasure over the achievement and said that the recognition was not just a number but a validation of the collective spirit and dedication that had flourished on our campus.
“Our focus is fully focused on advancing interdisciplinary research,” he said, adding that he appreciated every researcher, academician and community member whose tireless dedication had made this milestone possible where disciplines had been working together to find real-world solutions.
